Priyanka Chopra born 18 July 1982 is an Indian actress and former Miss World. Before starting her acting career, she worked as a model and gained fame after winning the Miss World title in 2000
Chopra was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand to Ashok Chopra and Madhu Akhauri, both physicians by profession. Chopra spent her childhood in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh; Newton, Massachusetts; and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.[6] Her father was in the army and thus her family moved quite frequently. Her father hailed from a family of Punjabi origin, settled in Bareilly and her mother comes from a family, settled in Jamshedpur. She also has a brother, Siddharth, who is seven years younger than she is.Chopra studied at La Martiniere Girls' School in Lucknow as a young girl. These frequent re-locations took place as her father was a physician in the Indian Army. She subsequently re-located to the U.S. where she studied in Newton South High School in Newton, Massachusetts and then in John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She returned to India and did her high school at Army School in Bareilly. She began college at Jai Hind College in Mumbai but left after winning the Miss World pageant.Chopra came in second place at Femina Miss India 2000 competition winning the Femina Miss India World title and subsequently being sent to Miss World where she was crowned Miss World 2000.[8] In the same year, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza, both also from India, won the Miss Universe and Miss Asia Pacific crowns respectively, in a rare triple victory for one country.When Chopra won the Miss World crown, she became the fifth Indian woman to win the title, and the fourth Indian woman to win in a span of seven years.On December 12, 2009, Chopra was present as a judge for the Miss World 2009 competition held in Johannesburg, South Africa.


Preity Zinta born 31 January 1975 is an Indian film actress. She has appeared in Hindi films of Bollywood, as well as Telugu, Punjabi and English language films. After graduating with a degree in criminal psychology, Zinta made her acting debut in Dil Se in 1998 followed by a role in Soldier the same year. These performances earned her a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award, and she was later recognised for her role as a teenage single mother in Kya Kehna (2000). She subsequently played a variety of character types; her film roles along with her screen persona contributed to a change in the concept of a Hindi film heroine

Zinta was born into a Hindu Rajput family from Rohru in Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh.Her father, Durganand Zinta, was an officer in the Indian Army.[10] He died in a car accident when she was 13 years old; the accident also involved her mother, Nilprabha, who was severely injured and consequently remained bedridden for two years. Zinta called the tragic accident and her father's death a significant turning point in her life, which forced her to mature rapidly.She has two brothers; Deepankar and Manish, a year older and a year younger respectively. Deepankar is a commissioned officer in the Indian Army, while Manish lives in California.Zinta, who describes herself as a tomboy as a child, has emphasised her father's military background as having a lasting impression on how family life was conducted. He asserted the importance of discipline and punctuality to the children. She studied at the Convent of Jesus and Mary boarding school in Shimla. Although she confesses to loneliness in the boarding school, she noted that it was compensated by her finding a "... perfect set of friends" there.As a student, she developed a love for literature, particularly the works of William Shakespeare and poetry.According to Zinta, she enjoyed schoolwork and received good grades; in her free time she played sports, especially basketball.
Upon graduating from the boarding school at age 18, Zinta enrolled at St Bede's College in Shimla. She graduated college with an English honours degree, and then started a graduate programme in psychology. She earned a postgraduate degree in criminal psychology, but later took up modelling.Zinta's first television commercial was for Perk chocolates, the result of a chance meeting with a director at a friend's birthday party in 1996.The director persuaded Zinta to audition for the spot, and she was selected. Afterwards, she appeared in other catalogues and commercials, including one for the soap Liril.


Parvati Melton (born 1989) is a tall Indian model and a Tollywood actress. She was born in California to a German father and Punjabi Indian mother. She has a sister Ariana mahecha and learnt Bharatnatyam as a child.She acted with Raja in the film Vennela, which turned out to be a success. She acted in the Super Hit movie (Malayalam) film Hallo along with South Indian star Mohanla



Poonam Kaur is an Indian actress and model. She has frequently appeared in Telugu films apart from Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films



Poonam Bajwa (born on April 5, 1989) is a Punjabi actress concentrating in Tamil and Telugu language films. She starred in Boss opposite superstar Nagarjuna and Nayantara. She made her debut in Kollywood through a film titled Seval opposite Bharath.Most of her films are successful. She usually plays the role of a second heroine in most of her films
Poonam Bajwa is a famous South Indian actress who acted opposite Nagarjuna and Nayantara in a Telugu movie Boss, I Love You(2006). She has acted in a number of Telugu films namely: Modati Cinema(2005), Premante Inthe(2006), Veduka(2007) and Parugu(2008).

In Kollywood her debut was in the movie Seval(2008) where she played a character named Parijatham Panchami and then she appeared in Thenavattu(2008) as Gayathri. In 2009 her releases are Saravedi, Katcheri Aarambam and Drogi. In Drogi her co stars are Srikanth and Vishnu.


Prema is an actress in the Kannada film industry. She has starred opposite Shivrajkumar, Mohanlal, Vishnuvardhan, Ravichandran, Upendra, Saikumar, Carrot Top, and Ramesh Aravind
Prema stepped into Kannada filmdom with the movie "Savyasachi" starring against Shivarajkumar in 1995.
Later from the block buster Om Prema gained a comfortable position in 1996 and she had been rated high in her capacity to emote any kind of role that's given to her.
She won a State Award Winner for the Category 'Best Actress' in 1996 for the movie Om. She has also bagged Filmfare ('Best Actress') award for the movie 'Kanasugara' in 2001. Other awards include Screen Videocon, Udaya TV, Devikarani, Chitrapremigala Sangha and Cinema Express award.
Prema, on the lines of some well-known actresses of the yesteryear, has the credit of having stayed away from controversies and affairs and enjoys a high reputation among movie-goers, esp, womenfolk.
Prema has also gone on to act in other languages. In 1996, famous Tamil Director Suresh Krishna casted her in his Malayalam movie, The Prince , opposite Superstar Mohanlal. Today she is has acted in five languages. Her Telugu language film, Devi made a collection of Rs. 18 crores and its dubbed version was released in Hindi language.
Currently, she has done an important role in Sundarakanda, a Bapu movie with Charmee Kaur as the main female lead.
She tied the knot with her boyfriend Jeevan Appachu who is also a Coorgi (Kodava), on Thursday, July 6, 2006.



Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer, better known by her stage name Priyamani is an Indian film actress and model who has appeared in several Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She is best known for earning a National Film Award for Best Actress for her role as Muththazhagu in the 2006 Tamil film Paruthi Veeran, and for her role as Malavika in the 2008 Malayalam film Thirakkatha for which she won the Filmfare Awards South for Best Actress.

Priyamani was born into an Iyer family in Palakkad, Kerala, and grew up in Bangalore. As a result of her dynamic exposure in different South Indian states, she speaks Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu. After completing her schooling, Priyamani modelled for print advertisements. As a subsequent result of her extended modeling, she began to earn opportunities to star in films. After being approached by several directors and being considered for roles, she finally starred in director Bharathiraja's film Kangalal Kaidhu Sei, which was released in 2004.[1] She is currently completing a B.A. in Psychology. She is the cousin of Bollywood actress Vidya Balan.
Her debut film Kangalal Kaidhu Sei in Tamil was released in 2004, and her Telugu debut, Evare Atagaadu, sank without a trace. Priyamani then made her debut in the Malayalam film industry, where she starred opposite Prithviraj, through the film Satyam, but this film also performed poorly at the box office. Despite these commercial failures, she was signed by Tamil film director and cinematographer Balu Mahendra to star opposite Dhanush in the 2005 drama Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam. She won tremendous acclaim for her performance in the film, but the film's under-performance meant that box office success still eluded her.
In 2006, Priyamani starred opposite Jagapathi Babu in the film Pellaina Kothalo, a film about a newly-wed couple. The film was a surprise hit given its low budget and modest star cast, and it propelled Priyamani to fame in Tollywood.


Priya Anand (is an Indian film actress and model who appears in Tamil and Telugu films. She appeared in several popular Tamil and Telugu films including, Vaamanan and Leader.

Siddharth is playing the hero, while Rajendra Prasad is playing the hero’s father in ‘Baava’ directed by Rambabu and produced by ML Kumar Choudary on the banner of Sri Kirthi Combines, with Praneetha playing the female lead.
The film is slated for release on October 29. With most of the film which had evoked lot of hype biting the dust, it was said that those who have less expectations and who doesn’t have any hype may go well and the entire unit is confident about the success of the movie.
But Siddharth is really looking for a big hit as he tasted successive failures in recent times. The film was made with village in its backdrop and the producer kept high hopes on Rajendra Prasad’s caliber to make the film big hit.
Let us wait and watch how far Praneetha’s glamour and Rajendra Prasad’s performance would give a hit to Siddharth.
Here is a top secret point. There is a lip-to-lip kiss scene in the film between hero and heroine and it ran for about two minutes (120 seconds), however it was reportedly chopped off for a few seconds to avoid the wrath of censor.
Chakri scored music for the movie. Dil Raju bagged the distribution rights for the entire Nizam areas and is planning to release the film more number of theatres.
